Anxiety and Depression

If you are concerned that your child may be depressed or anxious, you can schedule a consultation with one of our clinicians. We will talk to you and your child to gather details about symptoms and concerns as well as administer validated questionnaires. If a diagnosis is made, we will review treatment options with you including counseling and medications. Many children with depression or anxiety do not need medication, but for those who do it can make a tremendous difference. After a new diagnosis, we will see your child more frequently, every 1-3 months, but once they are clinically stable and doing well follow up will be every 6 months.
