Like most pediatricians, we strongly support breastfeeding. It has positive health benefits for both the baby and the mother. We also recognize that for a variety of reasons not all mothers choose to breastfeed and we are supportive of this decision.
Verity Garvey is an experienced IBCLC who is available to help with your breastfeeding journey. She can help you solve breastfeeding challenges. She can also assist in many other ways, including learning how to use a pump, troubleshooting supply issues, and helping with the transition to formula if needed/desired.
